Time 2 h 30
A large coat takes time to dry properly: a damp undercoat is what causes skin problems. We take the time, then trim and shape: feathers, feet, ears, tail.
What is done
- Bath and conditioner, up to the skin
- Long blow-dry to remove the dead undercoat
- Trimming of feathers, feet and ears
- Nails, ears and paw pads
Good to know
We never shave double-coated breeds without reason: the coat protects them from heat as well as cold.
